Indianapolis Zoo

We had so much fun this previous weekend. We went up to the Indianapolis Zoo. Jackson just loved it! We were also lucky because they had a "ZooBoo," they called it. They decorated the whole Zoo up for Halloween, there were fun Halloween activities, and kids were all dressed up in their Halloween costumes. I wish we would have known so we could have dressed Jackson up in his costume. We had so much fun though seeing all the different animals that were there. They also had Trick-or-treating for all the kids, so Jackson loved getting candy as you can see below. Jackson picked up saying trick-or-treat real quick. This year has already been a lot more fun with Jackson since he understands it more.

Jacksons favorite animal at the Zoo, so he says, was the HUGE elephant. Here are a few pictures of all the cool animals we got to see.

There was a little train that went around on a track in the Gardens area. Lately Jackson had been a huge train fan and so seeing the train go around and chooing was so fun for him. He would be able to push the button you see and make the train start going.

Jackson has gotten so much better at going out of his comfort zone in touching animals. He just loved touching the goats and elephants as you can see.

We got to see an elephant get a bath.

We couldn't believe how long of a tongue the giraffe had. They sure liked those sweet potatoes they would give them as a special treat. We had fun watching and taking pictures of them sticking out there huge, long tongues.

We also got to see a dolphin show they had there.

Jackson and I here in front of a tank of sharks. Dad was daring enough to touch them, not for mom though.

Jackson got this fun little Lowe's apron at the Zoo to build some fun games. I had to dress him all up with the hat, hammer and all.

Jackson and I went with some moms in our ward to a place close by called Apple Works. They had a fun tree tower with a huge slide, mazes, hay rides, fresh apples from the farm you could pick, farm animals to pet, and also other fun things the kids could play on like this tractor, hay tower, and pumpkin house. Jackson had so much fun playing there with all his friends.

Jacksons such a flirt, already driving all the girls around. J/k Ha..Ha...

Fun Pictures Lately

Lately I've been in a sewing mood, I guess. I've enjoyed finally finishing my softball blanket that I started putting together quite a few years ago. It's squares that I cut out of all my softball shirts, sweatpants, etc. I started it when I was living at home having my foot surgery and finally finished it by putting a back on it and tying it. I thought it actually turned out looking pretty good. I mainly put it on here for my family to see since they're far away and can't just come over and see it. Oh the memories that came back, what fun times of the pitching years! Go Spanish Fork High!

It was so funny the other day. While I was working out one morning on my elliptical, Jackson said, "Mom, Mom, look!" And when I looked over he had done up one of his buttons that wasn't buttoned up. It wasn't in the right whole of course as you can tell, but I thought it was a great accomplishment and so did he, as you can see.

This is just one picture we took of Jackson in one of those huge balloon Jumping things. He has never done it before and he just LOVED it! He didn't want to get out of it. It was at a fun night activity that the city had where he was able to ride a pony, play all sorts of games, and they even had a night at the movies. They made it like at the Drive-In Movies. Jackson really had a lot of fun.

Here are a few pictures of Jackson riding on his horsey while wearing his goggles.

Our ward had a fun get together that Dave was in charge of with the Elders Quorum presidency. We had a BBQ and a fun pie eating contest. I had a lot of fun learning how to make pumpkin pies. It was a lot of fun getting together with the great ward we are able to have out here.

Dave had a lot of fun doing the pie eating contest as you can see! He's proud to say that he got third place in the pie eating contest, sad but true, out of all the guys and one woman that did it, the woman beat them all. They were all a little embarrassed I think.

TAGGED!

My sister-in-law, Sheri, tagged me with an image tag, sorry it's been so long Sheri. Basically, you search for the answers to a few questions using the Google/Yahoo Image search. Then, you have to post an image from the first page of the results with your answer.

My Age:

Where I live:

We are living in Columbus, Indiana right now. Here's a bunch of pictures all together of what it looks like here.

Place I would like to travel to:

Someday I would really love to travel to Hawaii. It looks so gorgeous there.

My favorite food:

Pretty much all Italian food

Where I grew up:

Well, I grew up in Simi Valley, California for 12 years, but I couldn't find many good pictures from there, so I put a picture of Ventura Beach, which wasn't very far from where I lived. I also remember pretty much living at Ventura Beach, we went there a lot while we lived there. Many memories there that's for sure.

My favorite color:

Purple

My favorite animal:

Not a huge animal fan, but if I were to say what animal was my favorite it would be a monkey.

Something I used to love:

I thought of these slap bracelets that I used to have a million and one of. They were so cool back then.

My first name:

Amber, this is an amber pendant

My middle name:

Christina, the only picture I could find relating to my middle name was Christina Aguilera. Not a fan of her at all, but her first name is my middle name.

My last name:

Pendleton, this is just a picture of the Pendleton, Indiana city sign. It's only just over an hour north of us here in Indiana.

I'd like to tag whoever would like to do this image tag.
