Going to the Pacers Game!

So, it was funny because we went to a Indianapolis Pacers game and were sitting way up in the nose bleed seats.  I had to use the restroom a little into the beginning of the game.  After I washed my hands a lady came over to me and asked where I was sitting.  I told her way up high.  She said she could get me better seats.  Well, as you can tell these were a lot better seats.  In fact on the 17 row seats.  It was great!!!  Jackson seemed to be a little scared being so high up too, so this turned out great being so close to the game.  Note to self always go to the bathroom in the first quarter of a basketball game and hopefully have the same luck.

Dave had a car wash fundraiser last weekend for his High Adventure and other Scouting.  They even washed and ambulance, which took quite awhile.  It turned out to be a great idea since they had such a great turn out.  They could have done better probably too if they tried to sell tickets a little more.  The weather wasn't the greatest either, but it worked out wonderful.  Its amazing how giving some people can be with these things.

Easter at our house, and other fun things!

I had fun taking the girls on a picnic today. Whitney has been getting so much bigger and doing so much more. The girls just love swinging on the swings at the park.

Here are some pictures from coloring eggs on Easter. Jackson loved making a baseball egg since right now he is playing baseball with his dad coaching him.

Dad and Megan had fun coloring some eggs together. Megan colored pretty much all her eggs pink. Such a girl!

I had a fun time doing an Easter egg hunt and Easter basket cupcakes with Megans preschool. Its been totally low key and that's exactly what I wanted. Its been really great for Megan and me.

Hollywood!!! I love putting glasses on babies when they are this age, so cute! They don't keep them on very long though.

Jackson had an awards assembly a week ago. His teacher asked him if he could write about what his favorite thing was to do in Kindergaren. He is such a boy and doesn't get too much into details as a girl would. That's a thing I've totally noticed more with girls and boys with being different. Girls will go on forever with details on everything. Boys will tell you one thing and nothing more, no details whatsoever. I guess that's just how it is. Anyway, he said he loved to learn new things everyday. He also loves Art and going to the Library. This doesn't surprise me, he has always loved going to the Library and doing crafts with me.

So, I've realized I'm getting a little less strict being a mom with every kid more and more. Here's Whitney having a sucker. She absolutely loves them. I would have never let Jackson have a sucker at this age. I watch her the whole time of course, and if you take it away from her she'll have a screaming fit. Boy, does she throw tantrums now. Good thing she is so cute!

Okay, so this was so funny. I came home from going to a kids resale and I layed the clothes I got for Megan and showed her and for Jackson too. Jackson said, "cool!" and went back to what he was doing. Then Megan went through every shirt and said, "this is so...pretty!" to almost everything. Then, she layed these clothes out like so up above, by herself. This is such a girl thing to do when you're older, so I thought for your first day of school. Dave looked at me and said, "Oh my gosh!" Megan is, well, I don't know what she is, but she is one I have yet to figure out. Thats what eternity's for, I guess. Everyday is a mystery with her, don't know what to expect. Here's Jackson who loves to snuggle and be wrapped up with blankets and stuffed animals.

Our trip to California for Spring Break

I absolutely loved being in California the past week. I always have to take pictures of the cool looking palm trees while driving. We had such a fun trip. It was a last minute trip, but we had a blast spending our time with family for Jacksons Spring Break. Got to take advantage of that time off he gets. We use to be able to go anytime, but now with him in Kindergarten we have to plan our trips according to someone elses schedule. It was a little cooler some of the days, but we had a fun time doing lots of fun things with everyone. Thanks for the fun time you guys!

We went to the beach with Daves parents and had fun playing in the water a little since it was so cold and building a sand cave together. Whitney played in the sand quite a bit, she was a complete mess, so fun to clean up after the beach.

Our cute little Whitney is growing up all the time. She wore her grandpas hat to keep the sun off her face when we went to the park.

We had so much fun going to Disneyland. We went all day with my parents and my sister, then went home when it was the kids bedtime and put the kids down then went back down to play for a little longer since they are now on summer hours and open till midnight. Such a fun place to go.

Of course we had to ride on the teacups, even though this makes me sicker than ever when spinning. I so have to focus on something so I don't get sick.

Megan so loved seeing all the beautiful princesses in the parade. Girls and princesses!

A little up close with Jackson and Tigger.

Megan loved going to the princess area and hearing Cinderella tell her story for princess storytime.

Megan also loved seeing Minnie of course.

Whitney is such an attached baby and so it was very difficult to get her to smile with anyone.

Jackson so loved going on the Buzz Lightyear ride.

Whitney tried some oranges at Grandma Shelleys house. They seemed to be a little sour to her, if I'm reading this picture right from her expression on her face.

The kids and Grandma played tag at the park.

Grandma did a fun little Easter egg hunt for Jackson and Megan. It was cute to see Megan lining them up after she had found them all. We usually don't go see family at Easter time, so this was fun to do with family. It was also fun coloring eggs together and making them into deviled eggs.

I made some fun cupcake Easter baskets with Jackson and Megan which we always do.

It was a lot of fun going to the Johns Incredible Pizza we usually go to when we go see Daves family. It was so much fun spending time with Daves family. Jackson and Megan loved spending time with their cousins. Its so nice having them so close in age.

The girls were so cute to see play together. Megan and her cousin Ella played so we together. They just loved giving each other hugs, so precious!

We had such a fun time with all of our family we have in California. We love all you guys!
