Inside our house!

Here are some pictures of inside our new house that we live in. Being here in Indiana my family hasn't been able to see it, so it's for them to actually see what our house looks like inside. We haven't really hung anything up on the walls, but just giving you a glance at what it looks like. This is our living room that we love with the 13 ft. vaulted ceilings, fireplace, and all the big windows that bring in lots of light.

This is a picture of our downstairs where we haveone of the love sacs my dad made for one Christmas. It's been awesome! My dad sells them if anyone is interested.

This is Jacksons room that is blue, with the crib and teepee. Thanks so much Marc and Cindy he just loves to play inside of it with his Elmo sleeping bag and pillow. Its so funny when he'll jump into it and hide then peek out and says peek-boo.

This is one of our bathrooms that we usually have guests use or we use mainly with Jackson.

This is our other bathroom that is in our room. We had a few things that we really wanted in our house and having two sinks was one of them. It's very nice to have. Also pictured is where our kitchen cabinets are. When we moved in there wasn't a microwave installed in the cabinet, but we thought since there isn't a whole ton of counter space it would be nice to have one. So, my Mr. handy husband installed one with the help of his dad while they were here. It is so nice and convienent. One picture is of before it was done and the other is when the microwave is finished. Thanks honey!

This is our hallway upstairs. On the left is our laundry closet with the washer & dryer. Then, the first door on the right is our office. The second door on the left is the other bathroom. The door down the hallway is just a closet and the last door on the right is Jacksons room. Our room is the door I'm in looking down the hallway.

Here's a picture of our other lovesac my dad gave us for his graduation. They are as comfortable as a couch or I think, even more comfortable. It really matches well in our living room. All the colors go well with the walls and couches. Thanks again dad!

And last of all this is our kitchen. We found this table and chairs of Craigs List. If any of you haven't ever gone on it, it is great. Try it!

We have really been blessed to have such a nice house to live in. We just love it! All family and friends are welcome to come visit or stay at anytime. We love you all!

Grandma & Grandpa come to visit!

It was so much fun this past few days. Grandma and Grandpa Pendleton flew in on Saturday night and we've had them over at our house the past few days. Dave had to still work as you can tell by his shirt, but he was able to only have to work half days so that we could go do some stuff with them since they are only here once in a long while.

Here's some fun pictures with Jackson, David, and Grandma and Grandpa.

We had so much fun being able to go to the Indianapolis Childrens Museum. Jackson and I went before when we were here for the summer, but David and his parents had never gone. It was a VERY busy day at the museum. It was on Presidents Day, so they had it as a FREE day. So, everyone and their dog was there. (not really the dog part, but pretty much)

Jackson loves to play in the HUGE sandboxes with all the kids. There's all sorts of different sand toys to put the sand in and have in run through as you can see. It was called "The Land of Sand." He has so much fun at the museum. They have all sorts of things like a Curious George area, a huge dinosoar area, a carousel, and Jacksons favorite was of course playing in this sand area that has all different things, like a kids train track to play trains on, trains he could ride on and pedal to go, and a little play kitchen Jackson loved that he could put dishes in and out of cuboards. We were so happy grandma and grandpa came to visit us at our house. We felt bad that Jackson got a double ear infection one of the days they were here, so that day wasn't so much fun for all of us. Thanks for coming Grandma and Grandpa! We're excited for our nephews baptism this Saturday though. Yeah Joseph!

HAPPY VALENTINES!

We sure think Jackson looks cute in his vest and tie. Just right for Valentines!

David gave me this huge Valentines bear with chocolates. As you can tell it was bigger than Jackson. He just loves the bear, he will growl at the bear as if its a real. We had a really fun Valentines, we were able to go out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse which has amazing ribs, mmmm..... good stuff. We also went to Chuckee Cheese, a great place of course for a kid. Jackson just loved riding on a horse that was there and he also loved playing skee ball.

A DIFFERENT JACKSON!

I just had to note on here that two miracles happened on Sunday. First thing was that Jackson went to Nursery all by himself and stayed the whole time. Yay!!! We loved it, we were able to attend all of our classes while he played very nicely in Nursery. They said he cried the first five to ten minutes then was perfectly fine the rest of the time. We have great Nursery leaders. We hope this will continue. Second thing that happened on Sunday, something that Jackson has never done yet was that he fell asleep in his crib for a nap all by himself. David asked him if he wanted to go to his crib since we figured it was time for a nap after church, and he said "yeah!" so David layed him in his crib and he just layed there and didn't cry or anything and just fell asleep. I kept thinking there had to be something wrong, but no. It was totally amazing if you know Jackson. You would think that Jackson would never do such a thing. But believe it, it happened!

A picture of Jackson in Nursery. I never have my camera at church, but for some reason I had it that day.

HOME SWEET HOME!!!

Yeah! We're finally here at our home in Indiana. It was fun though this past month taking off work and all. David just finished school at BYU and just got hired on at Cummins out here in Columbus, Indiana. However, we were able to take about a month off and we spent a few weeks at my parents during the holidays and then spent a few weeks in California at Davids parents as you can tell going to Sea World and the Zoo down there. We had such a fun time vacationing and actually being together more than a few hours a day. During school that was how it was. Only seeing each other in the morning for an hour and then a few hours at night before we went to bed. So, it was nice to just relax and visit all our family before we took the big far move out here. Sad, but true it couldn't last forever.

Here are some pictures of when the moving truck came with all our stuff. It was so nice having them pack all of our stuff for us. We didn't have to pack anything, we didn't even have to take any pictures off the wall. They did it all. Although, now I wish I would have packed a few myself. A few things broke that I wish wouldn't have. They'll reimburse us though it sounds like, hopefully.

Jackson loves to put his shorts on his head. Wrong place Jackson! He does the funniest things sometimes.

Despite all the craziness with the movers coming, Jackson was still all smiles.

This is Jackson monkeying around!

Right now anytime we ask Jackson to smile. He pulls this huge cheesing smile! We just love it. Such a cutie!

OUR DEAR PRESIDENT GORDON B. HINKLEY

We were really sad to hear that our dear prophet Gordon B. Hinkley passed away. We will sure miss him. He was an amazing prophet. He was such an inspiration to the church and to the world. He was my hero and always will be. He worked so hard to move the church forward in bringing about more temples than any other prophet there has ever been. What a blessing he was to all of us. I will always have a place for him in my heart. We will forever miss you President Hinkley!
