The Indiana State Fair

We had so much fun on my birthday (I know it's been a little while since I've posted) We went to Indianapolis and went to Red Robin for lunch then went to the huge State Fair. It had a million sheep, horses, cows, pigs, you name it. I was so mad though when my camera died so I only got a few pictures there. But we had a lot of fun that day seeing the tigers, elephants, race car track, concerts, rides, etc. They had it all there. I can't believe I'm 26. Wow, I'm am getting ancient.

Jackson loved seeing all the horses expecially. He even took a pony ride at the end of the day. I'll have to try to get those off of my phone and put them on here. That just made my birthday even better. Jackson even wasn't scared to touch the sheep they had. Dave and I were totally shocked to see him touching the animals, usually he'd always be scared to even get close to them. He's growing up!

There was this lady that was carving a huge barn, I think it was, all out of cheese. Wow, the fun, different talents that people come up with. Now I think I've seen it all.

Jackson loves to play in his sandbox that we now have outside. We got some fun sand toys that he can dump the sand into and play with in it. I told him he looks cool in these glasses and that he should wear them while playing in the sand to keep it out of his eyes and he does. He just loves them. I think he just looks so dang cute with them on.

I was so proud of myself I just had to post a picture of the homemade bread I made this past week. I got my moms recipe of her wonderful homemade bread that I can't just have any day anymore and attempted it. I have always just killed the yeast anytime I've ever tried to make homemade bread. But, I've been determined to do it and make homemade bread good. And oh boy is my moms good stuff. So I made it, and yes believe it my dough did rise and it turned out to make delicious homemade bread just like my mom makes. Yay! I can make homemade bread.

JACKSON AND HIS FROGGIE POOL

Jackson just loves his new froggie pool that we got him with his birthday money from his Grandma and Grandpa Pendleton. He had fun having his little friend Sophie over to play with him in it. They had so much fun together splashing in the water. Sophie was just fine staying in the pool, but Jackson gets a kick to be in and out of the pool. The busy boy he is, can't stay in one place. So much fun!

I thought that these were such cute pictures of both of them.

COLUMBUS COUNTY FAIR DAYS

Jackson had so much much going to the demolition derby out here in Columbus. He just loved to watch all the cars crash into each other. I just love these faces he was pulling. This is Jacksons smile when we tell him to smile with his teeth.

The only ride we could convince Jackson to go on was the Carosel. He didn't want to of course sit on the horse, maybe because he was scared of it. I don't know! He loves horses, but for some reason just as soon as he's close to one he gets a little nervous and doesn't want anything to do with them. Funny kid!
